Emergency Care!

• Sometimes when the unexpected happens, please call us! You will get help either with a doctor's pager or with referral to a nearby emergency facility where you will get excellent service.

• If your pet has any problem from a nagging itch to a seizure, we can tailor its care to your situation. 
• Whether it will need a simple injection for a stomach ache or an in-depth evaluation with X-Rays, Blood Tests, EKG, Endoscopic Biopsies, our team of dedicated professionals will handle your pet with gentleness and compassion.
• Deposits for Hospitalization: In some situations, you may be asked to leave with us a deposit amounting to at least one half of the estimated cost of your pet's treatment. 
• We are always glad to provide you with a written estimate.
• Inpatient Visitation Policy: For most hospitals stays, we welcome visitation with a phone call ahead of time.

Daytime In-Patient Service!

• We welcome you to have your pet spend the day with us for any of our services. There is no extra fee. A form is available online to detail your request(s). This is for your convenience and is not required.

• We recommend arriving between 7:30 and 10 am and picking up after 4pm.

•  Under  certain circumstances, such as severe illnesses or injuries, we may ask you to speak to the doctor before leaving your pet. 

• If you are unable to return by closing time, your pet will be given a kennel in either the boarding or hospital room according to its condition and served its supper meal. Boarding or Hospitalization fees will apply.

Obedience Class

• Taught by Tania Smathers, a talented instructor with nearly 10 years experience in canine training.

• Teaches you to train your puppy/dog.

• Small classes ensure personal attention.

• Strengthens the human-animal bond.

• Reduces undesired behaviors.

• Classes held Monday nights outdoors, next to the hospital.

• Reserve your pet's kennel while you are away with peace of mind. Under veterinary care, any illnesses that occur are quickly managed.
• Request any of our other services during your companion's stay, for example, request a haircut and shampoo and retrieve your pet with a SMARTER IMAGE !
• Cats may have either a single or a double condo (doubles are not available during black-out periods: New Year's, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.)
• Dogs may stay in kennels according to weight and size (small, med., large). Indoor/ outdoor runs are available, too, weather permitting.
• Birds, reptiles, and "pocket pets" (guinea pigs, gerbils, etc) should come in their own enclosure with a supply of their regular diet.
• Rabbits do not need their own enclosure, but should come with a supply of their diet, too.
• Our Kennel Staff are trained to deliver lots of TLC and keep a close eye on your pet.
• Required for cats: Current on Feline Distemper and Rabies for adults or current in their kitten series for youngsters.
• Required for dogs: Current on Canine Distemper/Parvo and Rabies plus a Bordetella within the last 6 months. Puppies must be current in their vaccination series, including Bordetella. Please give us the phone number where you can be reached in case of emergency.
• We are well stocked in towels and toys, so please refrain from bringing items from home. They are likely to be lost or damaged!
