Owner and Hospital Administrator

April Splawn, JD

April joined the EAH family in 2002.  She has been the administrator of Ebenezer Animal Hospital since 2004, and April purchased the hospital with Dr. Jay Hreiz in 2013!
April is a 2001 graduate from Winthrop University (BA) and received her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004. Professional affiliations include the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. She is a cofounder of Save Just One, an animal rescue group working in the Charlotte area. At home she enjoys the company of the her five rescued pit bulls, Kade, Trail, Cameron, Pickles, and Finn; her cats, Mickey, Wesley, Blink, Figaro, and Maggie; and the multitude of foster pets that come through her door.
