Ebenezer Animal Hospital has been caring for my dogs for over 5 years and they have been tremendous to me. The staff is always knowledgable, caring and helpful. The doctors always explain everything in detail and help you make informed decisions about your animals. Further, and more importantly, everyone working there seems to really care for my dogs–they treat them as if they are part of the family! I give Ebenezer Animal Hospital my highest endorsement and I will continue to trust them with ‘kids.’ I absolutely recommend them to anyone!
I am not one to write reviews, however, I was so impressed with this place that I had to. I have been a vet tech for 10 years at a few different places among the southeast, and recently moving to Rock Hill, Ebenezer was the first place I took my family to. My dog (David) and two cats (Kathleen & Erica) are usually extremely stressed at vet clinics. At Ebenezer Animal Hospital, I felt completely comfortable with these techs handling all of my pets. I could tell, from my own experience, that these guys knew what they were doing and took care of each of my pets according to each one of their needs! Their yearly packages were so easy to deal with and very well priced ;). Everyone from the receptionists to the veterinarian were very informative and so friendly. I have been to several places in my travels where I was just a dollar, sign…not here! As a visitor and vet tech, I felt so at home!
This is a GREAT place!!! All of our furry family members are patients here for both routine preventative care and emergency situations. We have had urinary tract issues, back issues, cysts, dysplasia, hip displacements, knee issues/surgeries and the list could go on. I won’t go into detail about everything but we have some serious issues and I know that when we bring our furry babies here they are getting the best care possible. Our previous vet wanted to “put down” our German Shepherd puppy because of a skin condition that was costing us a fortune. Finally, we decided to bring her to Ebenezer for a second opinion and found that she had an infection in her female organs and only needed to be spayed. After the surgery, she didn’t have the stress on her body and her skin cleared up (just like the doctor here at Ebenezer said it would). That was 13 years ago and we haven’t been to a different vet since. Last year, the littlest of my furry babies had a dislocated hip (just days before we were leaving for vacation). I let her stay at the hospital under the care of Dr. Lawrence. He called (yes, I said HE called) several times that week to give me updates on how she was doing. She could not have possibly been in better hands. I am not one to board my furry babies but I did it again this year when we went on vacation simply because she does not travel well and is very nervous and uncomfortable away from home. I knew that she would be taken care of while we were gone. I have seen some changes in staff over the years but the one thing that has never changed has been the quality of care. I appreciate them very much!!! Not just how they treat my furry babies but also how they treat me!!
EAH has taken fine care of my animals, both dogs and guinea pigs, for many years with pinpoint examinations, testings, and have been spot on with their medications every time. It is also no small matter that they’ve even shown the greatest compassion when it is time for an old, sick friend to move on. Many thanks for excellent service and caring. Well done.
- My puppy loves coming to the vet now. Sheila does an amazing job at grooming him and really listens to all of my preferences and questions. They’re the best around hands down.
- Dr. Hreiz at Ebenezer Animal Hospital is fantastic. He is compassionate and cares what you’re going through. He helped me come up with a reasonable plan of action to manage the pain of my older dog and I can’t thank him enough.
Thank you all so much for helping me with Scooter. I can’t tell you how much comfort you provided me during my very emotional decision to put him down. He was a “bite dog” but I loved him. I’ll miss him forever. I feel comfort in knowing he went in the most humane and painless mannner possible. I will always be grateful to all of you.
I just wanted to thank Doctors and staff at Ebenezer for squeezing us in for an appointment for Jupiter the ball python yesterday. I’m so glad I trusted my gut and brought him in. Upon leaving the vet, we went out and completely upgraded Jupiter’s housing. Since changing her bedding, providing a warmer bulb for his hot spot, and increasing his humidity, Jupiter has been so happy and active! Prior to bringing him in, he was lethargic and apparently unhappy. His head is almost 90% clear and his eyes are no longer white and crusty, rather clear and shiny. I can’t even begin to explain the difference in his behavior. I am forever grateful that your staff took the time to see him and help educate us on a superior habitat. Thank you ever so much!
